It seems there hasn’t been a death due to measles in the US since 1994. I *think* the death rate in developed countries is about 0.1%. The CDC states that “complications” are as high as 30% in the US, but that includes severe like brain swelling and relatively minor like diarrhea.

Huge measles infection rates all over the Islamic world, especially Africa and Pakistan. 11 days incubation, no screening, Disneyland foreign kid magnet - very likely started by an imported case, spreading in crunchy California greens who refuse vaccinations and never-immunized illegals.

You might want to read-up on Heard Immunity and the risks to those who are vaccinated and the benefits to the entire population of all members a population have vaccinations.
Herd Immunity
The CDC is saying they don't know how this *outbreak* started. That is a lie. It is clear how the *outbreak* started. We have millions of unvaccinated people here in this country. They are bringing in bad stuff from tape worms to Tuberculosis to measles.
They're not saying they don't know who the first case was, they are saying they don't know how the outbreak started. Of course they know. We know.
A vast overwhelming percentage of our population is vaccinated against measles. The vaccine isn’t guaranteed to prevent the disease. But with the way the quality of nutrition is in the United States, measles is seldom more than annoying to most people, and not fatal. So vaccinated kids got sick with measles anyways. And it is most likely this strain is from outside of the country, and Friedan needs to start admitting that vaccines do not guarantee protection from measles, and talk about keeping decent hygiene and nutrition if you do get sick.
That includes immune individuals such as myself carrying the germs, unwittingly infecting other people, and not getting sick myself. Like it was said, the vaccine is not 100 percent effective, and we haven’t effectively forced it on the entire world to take it. Plus our country has been letting in foreigners who don’t have our health and hygiene standards.
Overseas=PC way of hiding the fact that it could be/is likely illegal alien in origin...

So the health department has indicated whether it’s a case of wild measles or a vaccination strain?

Measles is not a killer disease like cancer that has sky rocketed in number of deaths (over 7000%) in the last 50 years, heart disease or diabetes that are the top 3 killers that the CDC along with the medical establishment does not want to ask why?
They should be fired. There is evidence of the corruption and complacency of the CDC.
