And what about kids who are too young to be vaccinated? How about kids (and others) who have weakened immune systems and cannot be vaccinated? THOSE are the people who are most protected by herd immunity, and who are put directly at risk by anti-vaxxers.
Unless you have a child that cannot be vaccinated (those on or just finished chemo for example) or your child is under 12 months of age (babies cannot get the vaccine).
The only protection those kids have is the "herd immunity" built up around them which fails when there are otherwise healthy un-vaccinated kids included.
My kids, all vaccinated are fully grown and all my grandchildren are also vaccinated...we are dealing here with educated responsible adults. My worries are for those like lukemia survivors, kids with immune systems that aren't up to par, kids who have allergies to the ingrediants in a shot, kids too young to be vaccinated...any number of others that WE SHOULD ALL BE CONCERNED ABOUT...and that includes you...
