Why would anyone vote for a party, or support a party that throws their bravest warriors under the bus. The left does not do that, and they are killing us in capturing the hearts of people. I really wish both the party as a whole, and individuals on fr would wise up.
The overwhelming majority of Republicans are courageous...when there is no chance of it requiring they take a stand. They have the courage of their convictions...except that they only conviction is they want to be reelected. Ted Cruz is truly one of a handful who will stick to their guns regardless of the fallout, because they believe it is the right thing to do. Just about my only complaint about Cruz is it's time for him to stop the rhetoric and propose solutions. Eliminating the IRS makes for good soundbites but then what? Ending Obamacare is the goal but how will he go about making "health insurance, personal, portable, and affordable"?
