This is how Barack Obama wants to be the left’s Ronald Reagan
Yahoo News ^ | February 6, 2015 | Jon Ward

The 30,000-foot view of the Obama years that he hopes is taking shape — despite the fact that the recovery has been sluggish, and despite criticism from the right that Obama’s policies have slowed it down — is that he came into office with the economy in a huge hole, and that while he was president, it came back to life. The debate will rage for decades over whether the recovery was because of or in spite of Obama’s policies. But it’s quite possible that many people won’t care about what the economists decide, and will look only at the topline indicators, GDP growth and unemployment. The first line has gone up. The second has gone down.

But what really caused the recovery, and how much credit should Obama’s policies get for the nation’s brightened economic mood?

Picked a paragraph from the middle of the article as the excerpt as it comes closest to describing what this is all about. It is as convoluted a piece of writing as you will ever read in an attempt to promote Obama and denigrate Reagan.

I’m glad you threw in this caveat at the end. The whole way through the article I was wondering what you’d been smoking and wishing I had some!

WHAT effin recovery? And WHO thinks Obola has turned things around?! Phew! Your caveat at the end came just in time! I was ready to pronounce you as crazy as the proverbial outhouse rat, and move on.

Reagan’s success and legacy is based on how many people were free from the government; Obama’s legacy is how many people are dependent on the government.

Only amongst idiots and college professors. No recovery was ever because of govt. They happen through lack of govt.

One President loved America, her strength & exceptionalism.

The other despises "High Horse" America, her military & unfair society.

One praised America & Americans.

The other scolds them.

Even the most basic compare/contrast with Reagan’s recovery, and Obama comes up way short.

Cross reference with that Gallup article the other day on the unemployment numbers, and Obama comes up way short ... and can’t even effectively cook the books in his favor.

If TRUTH ever become fashinable in Big Media again, Obama will be scathed as the most destructive pResident ever. Cannot predict if TRUTH will ever be important to them again though.

Barack Obama couldn’t carry Ronald Reagan’s jock.
And in a celebrity death match, Nancy still could kick obammy’s ass.

This is how Barack Obama wants to be the left’s Ronald Reagan

Let’s see: Ronny left office with a super economy, rising incomes, a country that was loved by it’s friends and feared by it’s enemies; a population that was proud of it’s country and expected an even better future (and most of the world did too).

Barry will have accomplished the exact opposite. So, yes! Barry is the “Left’s Ronny”.

Now that we all agree; who do you want to run the country next: Someone who will follow Ronny or Barry?
