A lot of that money will be wired back to Mexico and used to smuggle more people into the US. Naturally, a percentage of that money will be used by the cartels to bribe Mexican government officials. I assume these types of articles are being published in Mexican newspapers south of the border.

All their stolen and phony SSN W-2's are in the SS Earnings Suspense File going back the 1930s. Nothing is deleted from the Earnings Suspense File unless the data are transferred to the SS master files. Once the ILLEGALs have a valid SSN they can request all -- ALL -- their years worked W-2s be moved to the master files.

That means they will be eligible immediately for SS benefits if they have the required ten years (40 quarters) IIRC.
