One would think the American people had quite enough of secret regulatory schemes after ObamaCare, but it looks as if the Left took the secrecy, deception, and pass it to find out whats in it strategy of ObamaCare as the model for all future power grabs. ObamaCare for the Internet, also known as Net Neutrality, is getting shoved down our throats the same way, with a plan kept secret from the public, while gauzy rhetoric about a more free and open Internet fills the air. Why does anyone think a secret plan blessed by the most power-hungry Administration of modern times is going to make anything more free and open, or even cheaper?

You have to ask yourself where are the Republicans in congress?
Why are they doing nothing about this?
” You have to ask yourself where are the Republicans in congress?

Apparently, their overlords want this.
Instead of “pushing to make secret net neutrality plan public” how about declaring that Congress has given no such authority to the FCC? These pansies are always back on their heels.
Why doesn’t an anonymous ‘unnamed source’ just scan it and put on the net?
Call himself Sandy Burgler.
The ‘Pubbies are starting to make noise mere days before the foregone-conclusion “vote” so they can say they “did something”.
And yes, why not say that FCC does not have the authority? Especially over Title 2 of Telecommunications.
Republicans are trying to make it public. Obama and democrats were doing this in secret behind the peoples back. the media should be exposing this but the media are hiding it.
If Republcans wanted it also then why say anything about it all?
Nobody would have heard of this tyranny by Obama and the FCC if Republicans had not ordered Congressional investigations into this censorship of the Internet. seems to many of you here anything democrats or obama do is somehow the Republicans fault.
If there was EVER a place where conservatives and young people could meet, THIS WOULD BE IT.
The Death to America crowd has to sneak their plans into place before the citizens can find out what’s in them.
Just ask Nancy Pelosi.
Been tweeting my reps asking the same question, where the hell are you people on this Internet grab?
Conservatives? yes. Establishment Republicans? Apparently not.
My guess is that the GOP power structure wants net neutrality as bad as the Dems. They just don’t want the blame for instituting it.
Cowering under the desk, hoping ValJar doesn't turn her evil gaze towards them.

pre4cisely- this should NOT even be going forward- Congress should shut this illegal act down solid!
Why do I have the impression we’re getting close to the end of that awkward period Claire Wolfe wrote about?
This has been a concern for quite a while, raised by lots of people not tied to the party and I feel that the Republicans are getting into the game quite late.
When I am feeling cynical I think that the objections they raise now are just for cover. If they had raised the alarm four or five months ago and held hearings and demanded that the regulations be made public and cut FCC out of appropriations bills, then I might think they really cared.
Net Neutrality helps Chinese Communists... we need to find out how... and why.
bs no one knew that Obama had the FCC coming up with these new regulations that some say implement net neutrality. no one has seen these regulations. you all are just looking for a way to blame Republicans when Obama and the FCC are doing this in secret. here’s a clue read the article and find out about it before you knee jerk blame Republicans for what Obama is doing. if they were such a concern for so long then show us the damn link to these new fcc regulations
