Combat range is about 200 miles, and can be doubled, or tripled with pylon fuel tanks, but that effects bombload. The SU-25S variant upgrade has a glass cockpit with HUD, and upgraded countermeasures.
Up to 8,800 lbs of bombs can make a big impact.
Dirt cheap, very plentiful, and dirt simple to fix. The SU-28 variant can run on Diesel, as well as Avgas. Much more survivable than a helicopter gunship, in the modern era.
Dead meat against most modern interceptors, but you have to go down to surface-to-surface missile range to play with it.

I’ll let you argue the point. I can simply attest as somebody who was on the ground that it was very nice to have those things loitering around and swatting bad guys. I’m wondering if the JSF can do that job nearly as well.
