I don't know if Giuliani overstated his case. I think he could have said that most of us unabashedly love America. Obama, if he loves America, is embarrassed to say so. Most of us viscerally love our country. Obama doesn't have an emotional attachment to anything beyond himself.

(Don't make me explain that again)

Ok, put yourself into this position.

Your mom gives you a foreign name, divorces the foreign dad, and a couple years later....hooks up with another foreign guy.

You get dragged off to some Pacific isle, where you pretend to be a insider and non-American, but you really can’t assimilate to the isle or their society.

You then get dragged off to Hawaii where you stay with Grandma because Mom and her lifestyle is so screwed up. Grandpa’s best buddy is some hyped up communist guy who talks negative stuff on the US daily. By the end of high school....you smoke enough pot that you don’t remember much but somehow you graduate.

You end up at some Pacific-coast college where it’s mostly ultra-rich kids. Then you go onto Columbia where it’s mostly ultra-rich kids. Then later, you end up with a Ivy-league school. It’s not about limited American experience....it’s about a kid who mostly pretends to be American, but doesn’t really know what it all requires or means.
