Donald Trump Explains Why He's The Only One Who Can Beat Hillary Clinton In 2016
Huffington Post ^ | 3/3/15 | Amber Ferguson

Despite Donald Trump's seventh place finish during this year's Conservative Political Action Conference straw poll, the business tycoon is adamant that he's the only Republican able to beat former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election. Trump told Fox News on Monday that he has "a great team" in place for a potential 2016 campaign, and said, "If I run, I think I'll win." "I think I'll beat Hillary," Trump said. "I understand Hillary, I know Hillary. I know the weaknesses; I know the strengths. And I think I would beat Hillary, and I think it would be more likely that I would win than somebody else." "I think she's not going to have such a clear road as people are saying and I think the election's going to be a very, very tough one depending on who the Republicans pick," Trump added. During CPAC, Trump announced he's 80 percent likely to run for the Republican nomination for president.

I figured this was good for a laugh, and almost posted it under Political Humor/Cartoons.

Whenever I want an explanation of the current political scene, I turn to a man who dyes his hair with Tang.

I do not grasp why anyone considers Hillary to be any sort of threat. We could not ask for a more imploding candidacy than that of Hillary Clinton.

Trump will become a 3rd candidate, selected by the democrats, if the race gets tight. I don’t trust Trump any further than his hair comes out front.

I heard him yesterday morning on F&F saying this. I snorted coffee out of my nose.

Six of one half dozen of the other. Pick your favorite 2nd rate huckster in the pants and coat. The only difference is one of the two has a lower T-Count.

What is “the Donald” trying to say? That he’s a bigger crook than Hillary?

Donald Trump.

Donald Trump wouldn't even make it to nominee. The Democrats are batsh*t insane, and they would very likely nominate Hillary.

Rand Paul & Debbie Wasserman Schlitz share the same brand of mayonnaise: “Hellman’s for Hair Care”.

Anyway, Hillary will implode (literally, & it won’t be a pretty sight) & kindly grandmotherly Elizabeth Warren will head the ticket with Comrade Bernie Sanders as her running mate.

“Left & Leftier”

If he’s the only one who can defeat Mrs. Clinton, the US is done.

Perhaps you need to refresh your memory about how the electoral voting process works. See the blue-red maps from the past 2 elections, for starters. It matters not whether Hillary is a good candidate, screwed up Benghazi, or used private email addresses, because the large blue states will go to her just because she has a D after her name.

That’s why.

Wow, gotta disagree here. I've followed trump closely and he make far more sense that just about anyone out there.

I think what everyone is reacting to is that to us he first sounds like a bit of a buffoon but I will suggest the reason is that he is NOT a politician. We are so used to professional politicians (read, very smooth polished liars) that when a normal person tries to enter politics they appear to be idiots.

Professional politicians are extremely good at what they do so if you think we need to get rid of them then we better start opening our eyes to people who don't live their whole lives around a career in public office. People who haven't dedicated their entire lives to living off the tax payers in public office are NOT going to sound like "smart" ones we now have that are litterally wrecking the country.

Trump wants to strengthen the military and does not want to cut social security. He knows money and has good negotiating skills.

CBC, Huffington Post, MSNBC, ABC and Time Magazine do not like him.

The left wing media does not like him.

Trump is a bigger kiss-a$$ than most of the current GOP crowd. Trump is Republican when it benefits Trump, otherwise he’s arm-in-arm with whatever Democrat is running the show (Bloomberg, DeBlasio, Cuomo, you name it).

The clampdown on smoking and all the crony capitalism that came along with it helped destroy Atlantic City, and Trump was the lead crony on that one.

I don't consider that to be a foregone conclusion. They went after Obama because he is black. I think support among the black community (and racist white liberals) for Obama will not translate to support for complete screwup Hillary, just because she is female. At least not enough for her to win.

And that does not even began to address the problems she would have when we start reminding people of just how ugly her actual record of non-accomplishment really is.

Trump’s pretty good, but if I’m looking for some reality television chooch who’s famous for inheriting a fortune, I’m more likely to pull the lever for Paris Hilton. She’s bankrupted less people than the Donald.
