I still would've been furious about yesterday's pro-invasion vote, as I don't think the US can survive a country we'll recognize with the number of unassimilated people in the US. But you know what? They could've at the very least made a deal....get enough Senators to over-ride the Keystone vote, and the HOR would deliver the votes for funding DHS and the invasion of the US, until September.
It would still be awful, but not so ludicrous it must be a bad dream.

I am DONE with the Republican party completely. We definitely need some new group to replace the Republicans completely, and I mean an entire purge. It needs to start by replacing Bone Head Bohner and the Kentuckian McDonnell.
If there’s no benefit to the party, the Democrat party then all Democrats will vote lockstep how the party dictates them to vote. Obviously no Democrat found their constituency of greater value than the party.
States need to get together and secede and withhold any and all tax payment to the federal. Period. Let them try and start a war. I am hard pressed to see liberals willing to be drafted in Obama’s war on poverty.

There was no battle here. No subtantive engagement by McConnell to flip a few more D Senators to get this bill passed.
The beltway GOP leadership and nearly all the caucus are going through the legislative motions. They’ve surrendered and checked out until 2016.
