Republicans have said that if they couldn't override Obama's veto, they plan to wrap legislation green-lighting the 1,700-mile pipeline into a spending measure or broader bill, such as the federal highway bill.

Lemme get this straight - they are saying they will use the same tactics to pass Keystone that they used to block DHS funding/amnesty? And then cave and give obola exactly what he wants? Holy shmokes! Anyone who insists on continuing to vote GOP is clearly, painfully just as anti-American as the left is. This is beyond ridiculous.

I can’t blame Republicans for Keystone XL. They’ve done what they could do under the constraints the Constitution places on them.

What else can be done?

They can continue putting this bill to the White House and Obama can veto it till his pen runs out of ink but the results will be the same.

I still would've been furious about yesterday's pro-invasion vote, as I don't think the US can survive a country we'll recognize with the number of unassimilated people in the US. But you know what? They could've at the very least made a deal....get enough Senators to over-ride the Keystone vote, and the HOR would deliver the votes for funding DHS and the invasion of the US, until September.

It would still be awful, but not so ludicrous it must be a bad dream.
