Top 6 instances of disrespect toward President Obama (barf alert)
Washington Post ^ | 3/5/15 | Jonathan Capehart

In his address to a joint meeting of Congress this week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “My speech is not intended to show any disrespect to President Obama or the esteemed office that he holds.” Forgive me for believing the latter and not the former. If the circumstances of how Netanyahu came to be in the well of the House two weeks before he stands for election were any more shady, they would constitute an eclipse.

Tuesday’s spectacle got me thinking about all the instances of folks throwing shade at the current occupant of the Oval Office. Herewith are the top six instances of rank disrespect toward President Obama.

6. Bill O’Reilly The Fox News anchor’s Super Bowl 2014 interview of Obama was notable for his seat-of-the-chair lecturing of the president.

5. The Daily Caller A reporter from the conservative Web site interrupted the president as he announced his immigration action for the children of undocumented immigrants in the Rose Garden in 2012.

A private citizen waving a Confederate flag in front of the WH, is this the best they can come up with?

Bless their hearts.

Unearned “respect” (acquiescence to mediocrity) is so much more pernicious than outright criticism.

To quote Herself, Madame Benghazi, the Cold & Joyless, “I’m sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you’re not patriotic. We need to stand up and say we’re Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration.”

What goes around comes around. There is at least as much constructive criticism to be made of the Current Regime, and probably a LOT more, as there ever was of the earlier Bush Administration (either of them).

When you look at this through the lens of affirmative action, it all becomes outrageous. It's everyone's job to prop him up.
