On Sunday, Chuck Todd, moderator of Meet the Press, appeared on NBC’s Today to provide some political cover for Hillary Clinton following revelations that she used only a private email account while serving as Secretary of State.
I don’t find much flaw in his analysis. People who support her put plumbing, politics and party over principle.
The headline is true.
I don’t know a single liberal that would change his vote to any Republican should Hillary be the nominee.
In fact, I still think she is electable because the Republican congress has, in two months, managed to cave to Obama multiple times and gleefully crap on the party base. It would take a miracle change in the GOP leadership to salvage the party before the next election. The GOP is toast.
Is it possible this this email issue is a diversion for the real problem:
That Clinton took millions of dollars from foreign/hostile governments WHILE SHE WAS SECRETARY OF STATE?
The Operative word here is "won't" which is what he is hoping. And that it won't derail her.
The "Won't" is false. It will, but this is Chuck's Spinjob.
She's not popular.
OK, then, but what IS causing the left to turn on her? Because they obviously are.
I really don't know how these "analysts" can stand themselves, pushing the elitist agenda (both parties).

Even if they find out that our enemies had access to all our State Department secrets all along, they will still excuse it.

The radical, mindless left is already shoveling as much dirt as they can on Hillary...but there is just to much “Clinton” all over her. There is no way to get it off -— the smell is too bad.
He is correct. It wont hurt with “Democrats”. The problem she will have is in the General election. She can’t evoke the passion of the Obama Voters and will suffer from a turnout problem from the Liberal Base. Romney had that problem with the Conservative base in 2012. The key to winning this election will be who the Republicans nominate. Stay tuned.

True dat. There could be photos of Hillary in bed with Raul Castro, Kim Jong-un, three underage girls, plague-carrying giant gerbils and it still wouldn't matter.
It going to take something like a Weimar Republic style hyperinflationary economic collapse before the free stuff army changes its voting.
If the GOP leadership collectively had a single brain cell, they would emphasize that the use of a private email service demonstrates that Hillary lacks the wisdom to hold higher office.
