To improve retention, the Air Force plans to expand a new program that allows top-performers to take one to three years off for personal or professional reasons without losing their "place in line" for future promotions, James said.

The government has blackmailed everyone into selling the ridiculous notion that diversity is somehow more important than quality, or is somehow the path to quality.I am not 100% sure of this, but I seem to possibly remember some General or something say, after the terrorist attack at Fort Hood, that what would be more of a tragedy, than all those people getting killed, would be a loss of faith in diversity. Maybe someone remembers better than me.

Air Force Secretary Deborah JamesIt's actually good that the homosexuals and traitors are out in the open.
Makes it a lot easier to purge them in 2017.
And Purged they will be.

I forgot to mention that about 2% of the population suffers some form of mental defect, but I think the NFL has that covered already.

Take away its ordnance and the USAF is just another over priced flying club. Since, according to Ms. Marie Harf of the State Department, we need to be giving psycho Islamic terrorists jobs instead of killing them, I can see taking the ordnance away, letting the officers fly planes and drones, and use Affirmative Action quotas to bring in more females, LBGTs, and minorities. Heck, the USAF might want to give some of the psycho Muslims jobs in the “kinder, gentler Air Force”. [sarcasm]

I loved he Air Force when it was a competent and mission oriented organization and not a social club to get the girls and other offended "minorities" pushed to the head of the line for political purposes to advance their careers and those of their bosses.
If this keep up much longer, it will be a complete failure as a fighting organization. But on the bright side, the right Americans will be doing the dying for a change.

I think that sports teams should be made to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Equal Opportunity Employment. After all, there are paraplegics, blind, deaf and otherwise disabled people who have dreamed all their lives of playing professional sports.
The discrimination shown these poor people is depriving them of an opportunity to fulfill their dreams and blocking their path to riches and fame.
Come on! Pass a law to give these incapable people a chance to realize their dreams! It just isn’t fair otherwise!

Of course, if the new recruits are not totally PC, they remain E-1’s forever.

No doubt the USAF is at a low point, but it's not only The Air Force.
