Let's put this in a scenario, because some of you might be thinking, all right, Rush, now this is, we're going too far now. I mean, now all you guys thinking Obama's doing this and that and he's violating the Constitution, but he would never -- well, let's construct a scenario and see if it has even the slightest bit of believability. And let's establish some things that we know to be true that Obama also knows and chief among those is that the Republican Party has said that impeachment is off the table, and more than once they've said this. The Republican Party has made it clear that they will not use that constitutional measure as a means of reining Obama in and maybe even getting him out of office.
They have also made it very clear in just the most recent vote on the funding for Department of Homeland Security that they will not use the power of the purse to stop Obama. OK, so those two realities equal Obama fully aware the Republican Party will take no steps to stop him in his ongoing violations, and running up to the edges, of the Constitution.

The courts have already told us that we the people are toothless, and the establishment would NEVER go after one of their own. Pelosi absolutely knew that every state AG in the country would give her a pass when she committed perjury, and that Eric Withholder would keep any federal law enforcement from doing anything except jailing any of us “terrorists” who still believe in the Constitution, if we dared to challenge the legalities.
The only thing any of us has that would strike the fear of God into anybody in this system is a loaded gun, but the first shot would be met with martial law and we all know it.
The Founders said that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. It should have scared the pants off of all of us, to hear the courts telling us that we have NO MEANS to stop the Constitutional breaches, or to even get a hearing on the Constitutionality. What they said - in unequivocal terms - is that our elected officials have ABSOLUTE POWER. No accountability. None. Zero.
They have nothing to fear. No reason to refrain from doing whatever lawless, Godless crap they feel like doing.
If what the Founders said is true, it is not even a question of IF Obama will try to do this, it is a law of nature that he WILL. He’s already checked, and the alarms have been disabled, the guards are bound and gagged, and there is nobody who can punish him if he robs the bank. What do you think he’s gonna do next?
Do you remember what happened in Honduras? Because of the constant temptation for dictatorships, their Constitution says that a President CANNOT run for re-election. There is a strict ONE TERM limit, and anybody who even ATTEMPTS to run for a second election is to be removed immediately by their military.
The Honduran President tried to have an election to re-elect himself. Had the “results” of the election in his suitcase. The Congress unanimously (IIRC) voted to remove him for violating the Constitution and their Supreme Court ordered the military to capture him and remove him from the country. Like their Constitution demanded.
Obama called that a “military coup”. Took away our aid and military cooperation with Honduras - which, if I understand correctly, actually helped set up the rule-of-law crisis/violence there which pushed a lot of Hondurans to try to get into the US illegally.
Obama - and the whole complicit media - BLAMED Honduras for following their Constitution.
If you want to know if Pelosi would try it here, go back and see what she said about the Hondurans who followed their Constitution, versus what she said about the Chavez-backed, proven cheat, communist wannabe dictator who trashed the Honduran Constitution’s term limits.

What I actually said, that you distorted beyond recognition, is that the candidates who also received Electoral votes had “PERFECT STANDING” to bring a lawsuit challenging the eligibility of the canididate who received a majority of the electors’ votes.
Many other Americans besides those with perfect standing did indeed file lawsuits and many were also granted standing to pursue those lawsuits.
At last count, there were close to 230 eligibility challenges to Barack Obama’s legitimacy.

Actually it was John Dalberg-Acton, aka, Lord Acton who stated “power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely”, not the Founders of our great nation.
Knowing that, it kind of shoots down you rant.
The whole system of checks and balances, separation of powers, and Constitutional governance is built upon the idea that without accountability, corruption is inevitable.
And anybody who can’t see the truth of that by now needs to go looking for their brain.

Something I’ve learned here is that there are people who travel in packs never missing their brains because all they ever do is pot-shots at the people who discuss actual content. Snakes in conservatives’ clothing. The only people they fool is themselves.
