Net neutrality proponents are already bragging that it will turn the FCC into the Department of the Internet, Republican Commissioner Ajit Pai wrote in an exhaustive 63-page dissent that lamented the FCCs ruling for reasons ranging from higher taxes and fees to the plans questionable legality.
The Internet has become a powerful force for freedom, Pai began. So it is sad to witness the FCCs unprecedented attempt to replace that freedom with government control .This Order imposes intrusive government regulations that wont work to solve a problem that doesnt exist using legal authority the FCC doesnt have.
