The FCC Releases Its New ‘Net Neutrality’ Regulations And One Man Appears to Be Behind the Laws
IJReview ^ | March 13, 2015 | Larry Oconnor

The Internet regulations the FCC quietly passed last month have finally been disclosed. The LA Times reports:

“The FCC’s action was strongly opposed by AT&T Inc., Verizon Communications Inc., and other broadband providers as well as most Republicans.

AT&T hinted at a likely legal challenge of the regulations Thursday.” Chuck Ross at The Daily Caller cross-referenced the nearly 400 pages of new regulations and found the organization Free Press referenced 46 times, while making the case for the so-called “net neutrality” regulations. He also pointed out who is behind the group:

“It has received $2.2 million in donations from progressive billionaire George Soros’ Open Society Foundations and $3.9 million from the Ford Foundation.”

McChesney, like almost all Progressives, ultimately wants the power to censor anyone who doesn’t agree with his ideas. He says that opposing ideas are unworthy of being reported on. He was one of the prime movers behind “net neutrality.” Do you have any doubts as to what he wants “net neutrality” to do to the free flow of information on the internet?

Interestingly, he seems to be against any country’s policies that are nationalistic, which is why he doesn’t like Putin or how China looks only after their own interests.

A crummy globalist. He’s a fan of the EU project.

I hope to watch the EU and the Euro crumble, and his dream of world government die.

McChesney has made it clear that he supports draconian regulations on free speech, up to a complete ban on any type of corporate speech or political involvement. Some of his statements even indicate that he thinks advertising should be illegal. Even on the Left, these are extreme ideas, yet his role in promoting the FCC regulations has gone virtually unmentioned by the MSM. Nice job, folks.

Because We Can

Porque podemos

Power means, never having to say you're sorry.

It doesn't matter which racial, sexual or class group the power slingers are using as a pretext, it's just the naked exercise of power itself, for its own sake.

"How much more can you get, how many more houses, how many more cars, how much more money can you accumulate?"

"You don't understand. It's a higher calling."
