Long before Michelle Obama became First Lady, her mother had misgivings about her marrying a young man named Barack Obama because he was biracial.
In a Chicago TV interview that aired during Obamas 2004 U.S. Senate campaign and newly resurrected by Michelle Obama biographer Peter Slevin in a book due out next month Marion Robinson confessed to being a little bit wary about her future son-in-law being the product of a white mom and black dad.
But it couldve been worse, according to Robinson.
That didnt concern me as much as had he been completely white, Robinson laughed in the appearance on WTTWs Chicago Tonight, which was scarcely noticed at the time. I guess that I worry about races mixing because of the difficulty not for, so much for prejudice or anything, Robinson continued. Its just very hard.

Ha ha....there are many more!!! If I said them I’d be racist.
I used to lurk on black-oriented message boards, they’re not shy about voicing their objections in the most unvarnished language, especially the women, but also the more militant males. More power to them, it just burns me up that whites can’t express the same misgivings.
I was a bit taken aback but she just said it very matter-of-factly.
Of course! Because she is black, she cannot be racist and gets a pass by media for any racist comments she makes.
It all boils down to media perception of the ‘voicer’. If black, automatic pass. If white - racist white racism.
Your cursive grammar give you away, whitey. You is racis. That should read
But mama BE DOWN with a etc. etc.
He only played a negro for the opportunities.he’s no a real black!
