Former Secretary of State James A. Baker III is to deliver the keynote at this weekends J Street conference, a gathering of left-wing activists opposed to the Israeli government and to recently re-elected Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Baker, who served under President George H.W. Bush, is also advising Gov. Jeb Bush on foreign policy in his presidential effortat Bushs invitation. Baker is considered hostile to Israel and is controversial among Jewish voters.
As the Algemeiner notes:
Baker is of course infamous for reportedly saying in private conversation, while George HW Bushs secretary of state, F**k the Jews, they didnt vote for us anyway.
But his antipathy towards Israel is well documented. He wanted the US to punish Israel for destroying Iraqs Osirak nuclear reactor. He hated Netanyahu as early as 1990, barring him from entering the State Departments building. And last but not least, he co-wrote the Iraq Study Groups 2006 paper that recommended (among other things) that the US tilt its foreign policy away from Israel and towards Syria and Iran, advice that President Obama seems to have taken to heart.

I like James Baker and Jeb Bush but not in the White House. For that we need Ted Cruse or Scott Walker.
Sometimes the bad news just doesn’t quit from Pubbies......
same ol’, same ol’...
Good, let’s mix in some classic Jew hatred to Jeb’s otherwise totally unattractive pallette and we should be good to go.
Jeb, you will never ever be President working for the enemy
(USA has awakened to this problem in today’s WashDC)
(and you did have a chance)
F**k the Jews?
Mr. Baker? President Obama is on the phone. I think he has a job to offer you...
Monsieur Baker needs a paid gig or two and Jebbie’s got the cash.
I've met him several times and spent several overnights with him on the phone working hurricanes/trop. storms.
He's as nice a person as you'd ever want to meet, but he's just going to embarrass himself going for the presidency.
In short, he needs to quit while he's ahead...not in the polls but in the larger sense of lifetime achievement.
The accursed GOP can be counted on to pull defeat
from the Jaws of Victory.
Even tonight, they tirelessly work for the Tyrant
and the DNC/Moslem Brotherhood against
the American people, the Constitution and their allies.
Monsieur Baker is an old big oil man anti-Semite from way back when. Another reason to dislike Jeb, among many. He has a Jew hater advising him on foreign policy. Not good.
Where are the lib-licking GOPe bots who “Won’t support Jeb in the primary but will vote for him in the general?”
Come on out you “progressive-GOP” supporters!
Why do you even like Jeb. He gave Hillary a medal on the one-year anniversary of the Benazhi massacre.
I’m not one of them.
If Jeb’s nominated I’m staying home?
Exactly.
He’s within the range of pro American politicians though I’d never vote for him.
Ya but we don't count the votes...They do...
good point. alas

Why not. The idea of resurrecting Arafat from Tunisia to run a future state was brilliant, and saved the time of building a local, secular government.
