This says both ferries were unstuck two and back on the job Tuesday - http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/newfoundland-labrador/both-marine-atlantic-ferries-back-on-the-move-1.2999429

Are they stuck again or old news? Can’t imagine how both could get stuck. When the first got stuck, one would think they’d give a heads up to the second not to depart or turn around. The ride is about 6 hours so surely they knew the conditions before leaving port. It isn’t as if this is the Dark Ages. Pick up a phone. Check the weather. What’s all those nifty satellites for? Stuck again; the story at your CBC link is from earlier this week. From the that link:

The Blue Puttees was scheduled to leave Port aux Basques at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.

This is the ferry that is currently stuck.

Don't mess with Mother Nature....

The SS Terra Nova, the ship that took Captain Robert Falcon Scott and his team on their ill-fated expedition to the Antarctic a century ago, was found on the seabed off Greenland.
