YEAH ... sure, if a lot of those people were “made to vote” they would probably vote “PRESENT” or “NONE OF THE ABOVE” ... :-) ...

Here's the way they'll do it: Offer a tax-credit to anyone who can prove they voted. Liberal states will quickly provide unique ID numbers to people walking out of polling places, that the IRS will accept as proof and True Blue [that is, conservative] states will quickly follow suit because of the pressure to provide a "free benefit," that other states are handing out.

Well, here's one way He could try to pull it off.
IRS Tax for not voting.
Tracked by Social Security Number at Polling places.
And to make it really ease. "Proxy Voting".
They will allow you to claim", I will always vote for democRats, so place my vote for all democRats.

I can't tell you how many people who have told me proudly that they have never voted for a Republican.
But I can not remember anyone who ever told me that they have never voted for a Republican.

Obamacare - ain’t gonna happen

Foreign-born president - ain’t gonna happen

Warrantless searches and seizures - ain’t gonna happen

A Marxist media - ain’t gonna happen

Rabidly anti-American public education system - ain’t gonna happen

Mandatory voting...

The federal government can require you to vote.
You must mark it off on your tax form.
A tax penalty will be due if you did not vote.
We have precedent for this already.

I wish the Constitution mattered enough that I could believe this expert. Compelling people to actively support gay “weddings” is a clear violation of the First Amendment right to freedom of religion. It should be easy for America’s enemies to push through something less obviously unconstitutional.

No, but they can be bribed into turning out to make it a requirement to show proof of voting to receive government benefits.

I would go with mandatory; every voter must have a vested interest; pay taxes without subsidy, receive no gov’t handouts, own property or other appreciating investment asset, no serious criminal history, must be able to speak, read, write English and have a working knowledge of founding documents and civic responsibility.

All the above would be mandatory in order to vote.

After September 11 if someone had told me that we would have a present named Barack Hussein Obama I would not have believed it. Now he’s wanting to turn his back on Israel, negotiate with Cuba, Iran and North Korea. I fear to think what this country will be like in 10 years.

Suppose a citizen is forced to cast a ballot. What would stop that citizen from advertising to cast a vote for whoever paid him the most money and then actually doing it? Is that immoral since the voter no longer has an option to not vote?

Yeah, that would get money out of politics very efficiently!

The woman to whom i was married once, was so lazy, that in a state that had mail-in voting booklets and the booklet describing all the candidates, amendments, and referendums, told me that i was to fill in all the votes, in her named booklet, and she would just sign it, and be done with it!!!

I told her, I did not wear the uniform of my country, for her to bhe that lazy and irresponsible.
