Colorado GOP moves to repeal new background checks for guns

The Senate gave preliminary approval Tuesday to a bill that would undo an expansion of background-checks for private and online gun sales. One more vote in the chamber will send it to the House.

DENVER | Colorado Senate Republicans notched a symbolic victory in the gun-control debate by giving initial approval to repealing new background check requirements.
