Jenny McCarthy and her husband Donnie Wahlberg appeared on Howard Stern‘s SiriusXM show Monday and the host asked her point blank what she thinks about the apparent struggles at The View since her departure last year.
“I think they might try one more year and then I think the Titanic might go down,” McCarthy predicted, after which Stern pointed out that the ratings for the show have diminished since she left last summer and producers brought back Rosie O’Donnell (who has since left for the second time).
McCarthy was hesitant to say so herself, but Wahlberg revealed that the show had asked her back (“not officially”) at some point over the last several months. “One of the producers called and said ‘would I’d consider it,’” McCarthy explained, “And I said ‘no thank you,’ because I couldn’t be me.”
She insisted to Stern that she is very happy with her show on Sirius, where she gets to be “herself.”
With O’Donnell’s abrupt departure, The View has been left with just three permanent hosts: Whoopi Goldberg, Nicolle Wallace and Rosie Perez. So far at least, the show’s “exciting new direction,” hasn’t quite gone anywhere.

Rosie O’Donnell was The View. Word is she went down alot more times than the Titanic ever did.
What was Wahlberg thinking when he married that ho. If you want to hang out with a pos like that, fine. Have a good time, but you don’t marry her. Jeez...
Never understood bringing back Rosie O’Donnell. Did they really think that more loud liberal brash in your face commentary from the likes of Rosie O’Donnell would pump up the ratings????

Exciting new direction? Right....as exciting as the tuna fish sandwich the “bad” Rob Lowe found on the bus.
The difference between The View and the Titanic is, The View brought their own icebergs.
Nicolle Wallace might as well be a Dem considering how many positions she agrees with them on,
Elisabeth Hasselbeck sure made a great choice .....her job on F+F is like Day to the Views which is night,
So they’ll blame it on the Jooos just like The Titanic......Iceberg, Goldberg, Greenberg.....What’s the difference?
Yeah I always put BIG money on things coming out of Jenny MCarthy’s mouth.
And I am not talking about what most of you guys think.

Do you know Jenny McCarthy? I do. She is a great gal, a terrific actress, a total pro. “Ho?” “Pos”? Not Jenny.
I find it hard to believe any other morning show will pick up her and her boring schtick. But who knows, the country is apparently full of ignoramuses who feast on vapidity.
