Wow. There was a skit on Saturday Night Live during the Dinkins administration of a local NYC talk radio call in station where some hack politician was taking quesitons. One after another they were about random, violent attacks. "A guy punched me in the face right in the street!" Politician says "well did you cross to the other side? No? well there you go."
