Well, as far as ponies go, plenty of such that are otherwise being sold for slaughter can be “adopted” out before they meet that fate, for a relatively small fee.
I doubt the “Palestinians” will give an inch on their goal for a “state from the river (Jordan) to the (Mediterranean) Sea”, by contrast.

Doubt ISIS could care less about "Palestinians". Any PLO/PLA led government would be just as "Haram" in the eyes of ISIS as the current Syrian and Iraqi regimes.
(And beyond the region, of course, the idea that Boko Haram in Nigeria or Thai/Fillipino Islamic terror groups care a damn about "Palestine" is ridiculous on its face.)
Down the road there is only one solution. One side wins and the other loses. It will not assure an ever lasting peace but it will suffice for a while. Too bad it has to be this way, but at times this is the only thing humans understand. If we had kept on negotiating with Japan and Germany it still would be going on today with no solution in sight.

Tell me how the “Palestinians” will defend their state against something like ISIS. Is the UN going to jump in and occupy?
If Obama tries to pull the rug on Israel don’t be surprised if Russia winds up vetoing. It would be a BRILLIANT MOVE on their part - they’d get even tighter with Israel (including, quite possibly their military technology), and they’d STICK OBAMA IN THE EYE, which they’d just love to do.

What the Palestinians mean is, end the occupation of Jews in the Middle East. Send them back to Europe or leave them here to be dealt with by ISIS.
It wouldn’t be the first time murdering terrorists used the UN to get something that they wanted.

There really isn’t a reason the occupation should ever end. If you let the West Bank become a Palestinian nation state, it is a hostile military force inside a giant salient or bulge pushed into Israel, ready to attack and invade across what would then be a ten mile wide Israel.
If you annex the West Bank and make it Israeli territory, then the lunatic Palestinians become Israeli citizens and get to vote. his effectively will let the PLO will all future Israeli elections.
So the only answer is for Israel to “occupy” the West Bank in perpetuity until those Palestinians prove beyond -any- doubt that they can be trusted. IE,, probably never,,,
