What kind of idiots do they have working at the White House that they can’t communicate better than this? Why wouldn’t somebody personally explain the purpose of the invitation and the details of the meeting? Also, don’t they have to run security clearances on everybody who is going to meet with the president? When I was a journalist I had to submit to a background check just to be in the media pool for a vice presidential visit and there were hundreds of people in attendance. Surely they vet the people who are going to be in a small room with the “leader of the free world.”
It’s like the keystone cops or Abbott and Costello run the White House and Government. There hasn’t been this level of incompetence ever in the history of this country. We have amateurs trying to run the nation and making mistakes. They don;t even know what they are doing.
