Although my reply probably could have been worded better, my intention was to compliment the uniform despite the politics.
So 0 will just order them to lower their standards.

Being a “lady” and, “tough as hell”, strikes me as closing in on an oxymoron. Infantry, while being a woman, doesn’t cut it in the Marines. But we all knew that didn’t we?
A huge experiment in futility, and not exactly cost free, but salute away if you must. The “ladies” got their bustle handed to them alright. But we all knew that, too.

The Marines kept their standards and the results were predictable. Only those who can pass the standards get through. There is a high washout rate with males in infantry school. Females aren’t going to be any different. However, the women are at a biological disadvantage that cannot be ignored — unless you reduce the standards to allow the women to pass. The marines did not, and that is to their lasting credit. Well done, Marines!
The Army is running its first female Ranger class. It will be interesting whether the Army maintains the Ranger standards for males AND females or they reduce the standards to allow the girls to pass. I don’t think the Rangers are going to put up with this kind of PC based manipulation. All of the Spec Ops crowd knows Affirmative Action type standards for males and females only kill soldiers when they go into battle.
Obi is going to have another hissy fit.
