A full-page ad ran in the Wisconsin State Journal Tuesday pulling Gov. Walker into the debate over a recent decision to bar workers on a state board from talking about and working on items related to climate change.

The decision has received national and international attention.

The newspaper ad suggests Gov. Scott Walker’s policies amount to a “war on science” meant to protect the investments of the Koch brothers and other conservative backers.

The PAC NextGen Climate Action bought the newspaper ad. The PAC is run by billionaire and Democrat Tom Steyer.

I have to assume that, given the context, he’s referring to Globalogna warming.

GW is not science. It is a religion. There is nothing “scientific” about their conclusions.

Solyndra type crooks make their money scamming American taxpayers.. it's the ONLY way they make money. So rather than increase production by 'building more' they increase profits by lying, supporting democrats and fighting Republicans.

"Being green" is an industry ... a lying scamming industry that steals from taxpayers... of course they hate Walker.

It is such a science that advocats have asked real scientists who actually get results (e.g., physicists) to go into climate science to clean up the mess of the flunkees currently soiling the “climate science” outhouse.

What do physics majors call the D students?

Future climate scientists.

Cruz and Walker both need scientists and engineers on their team to prep them for the trashing they are going to receive.
California needs global warming funds for their future agenda.
They will stop at nothing to get it.

In another time it would have been called money laundering.

Only one problem. If they’re not part of the “consensus” brigade, they shall be cast out as blaspehemers and deniers not worthy of an advanced degree in science. Begone non-believers. You know it’s coming.

Steyer is a billionaire Wall Street one per center who intends to make a killing off the "carbon" scam. He thinks he can buy elections to secure his objectives, and tried, last year. He failed. But he's youngish and has a lot of years left to redistribute his ill-gotten gains among the vanguard of the proletariat.

Wasted money (which is good).

This is a greater Madison paper that used to somewhat try for balance to appease the few moderate readers they once had. No longer. It has become, and now is, a full-throated anti-Republican, anti-Walker rag.

This is the paper for the liberal ruling class in the greater city area. No one else takes it seriously anymore because everyone knows what it is — The Capital Times Lite.

The Democrats are going to do their best to paint Walker as anti-science and anti-education. He’s giving them enough ammunition to twist into attack ads.

We can do the same thing.

The liberals war on religious freedom. Their war on whites. Their war on heterosexual men. Their war on moral decency. Their war against violence on whites. Their war on the truth. Their war on self defense. Their war on small business. Their war against the golden rule. Their war against any kind of fiscal responsibility. The war against your wallet. The war against everything you own. The war against those opposed to big spending, socialist ever expanding and encompassing government.

Back in the early 90’s when I was still in college I took a weather and climate class offered in the geography department. The guy who taught the class had a PhD in geography yet he had no science training except for a few classes in geology. He even told us that in class. Fast forward a few years later I see this professor’s name on the list of “climate” scientists who signed on to the Kyoto Protocol. I checked some of the other credentials of the other “scientists” and found that some were political scientists, geographers, and medical doctors. That’s when I started having doubts about all of this, and realized the whole debate wasn’t truly about science but one of political control.

Full page ad in Wisconsin State Journal tries to portray Walker as “anti-science” because State Treasurer and Attorney General told the committee that oversees the revenue from state lands to mind their business, rather than veering off into global warming.

FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.

Global warming is a difficult enough topic without politicizing it. Yes CO2 is a greenhouse gas and can cause warming. However, it’s one of a great many factors in climate change. It isn’t at all clear that the small increase attributable to human industry is going to do anything or even that other factors might lead to global cooling. CO2 remains at historic lows even though there has been an undeniable increase. If you look at the geological record, the only thing that is clear is that the climate will change regionally and globally over time.

Do we really want to bring on economic havoc and authoritarian rule or can we use our technological and scientific abilities to work through any change without committing suicide by cultural destruction.
