Gov. Scott Walker's father is the Rev. Llewellyn "Llew" Walker. Sen. Ted Cruz's father is the Rev. Rafael Bienvenido Cruz. Both are conservative Baptist ministers. But that is not the only thing they have in common. Both Baptist ministers were born in the same year, 1939.
Could this be a mere coincidence, or is God trying to send America a sign in these troubled times? We are living in an America where the leadership of both parties no longer believes in the difference between morality and immorality.
Who better than the conservative sons of two Baptist ministers to remind us of the days when American leaders understood the difference between right and wrong?

agreed and Cruz is 100% conservative though I had one liberaltarian trying to tell me Cruz is a liberaltarian and another liberaltarian keep telling people Cruz stands on the same platform like Paul on drugs , homosexuality, etc.
Funny how people are trying to paint their guy as a Cruz and yet he still stands alone with an articulate message, not pandering like others to minorities or trying to say one thing and ten say another like another flip flopper we are aware of.
Ted Cruz’s father is a Southern Baptist minister, not a Baptist minister, Ted Cruz is also Southern Baptist.
God has no grandchildren, so regardless of the faith of their fathers, what really matters is what do these (and other) candidates believe is the nature of God and whether or if they have placed their faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.
My father was a Baptist minister. My parents gave me the “privilege” of a loving family, faith and values which have served me well all my life.
If your dad had been a Southern Baptist minister, wouldn’t you have said that though?
He was a moderate Southern Baptist minister.
Shouldn’t you have identified him as a minister of the Southern Baptist denomination?
By the way, what is a ‘moderate’ Southern Baptist minister?

And the propaganda by his supporters spells desperation.
Like a guy who keeps getting rejected by a woman, but yet still hounds her for a date.

His critisizm of other GOP rivals ? What do you see ?
