Kermit -- everyone's favorite singing and dancing frog might be real. Or, at least a frog that looks like Jim Henson's popular Muppet. The Costa Rican Amphibian Research Center just announced the discovery of a new glass frog species.

My dad hates lizards and things (I know frogs aren’t lizards),
That little sucker would scare the crap out of him.

The little fella is adorable. On a rare occasion, I sometimes find them in my yard. I found an itty-bitty one that looked to be the size of the tip of my finger perched on the stairway railing in front of my house. I just think they're cute.

Since they existed for millions of years before he did, I'm sure he looks like them, and not the other way around.

That bright neon green would warn me off.
Neon means badass in nature.

Turning into a good year for frogs and the things that eat frogs. They are liking all of the rain. I’ve even seen a few new types of frogs I’ve never seen on my property before.

Awww.
Their skin looks so much like plastic that they almost don’t look real.

well, this poor guy is now good as dead. Remember a decade or two ago how the Golden Tree Frog was going extinct because of global warming and some such? Turns out what was killing it was a fungus spread by biologists and other earthy crunchy save the world douches which spread on the soles of their boots as they tromped all across the costa rican forests to save the frogs.

Turns out THEY were more dangerous than natural cyclical warming trends that lefties love to call ‘man-caused global warming’
