Gov. Bobby Jindal declared that he won't be backing down from the fight over same-sex marriage or Louisiana's controversial religious freedom bill in an opinion piece for The New York Times Thursday morning. (April 23).
Jindal said he will continue to back the legislation that some have called discriminatory, even if more businesses leaders come out against the bill. In the essay, he chastises conservative leaders in Arkansas and Indiana over bowing to pressure
"That political leaders in both states quickly cowered amid the shrieks of big business and the radical left should alarm us all," Jindal writes.

I know they are a national brand, but they will open outlets in the smallest of towns. So, they are the “Ben Franklin 5&10” of our era. They also have seriously cut into WalMart’s business.
Same store sales measures growth that comes from already built stores. Total sales includes sales from new stores. WalMart’s same store sales growth has had them concerned for a few years now. THAT is the business going to the small boxes like Family Dollar.

No more Nike for me.
Why has this become a concern of NASCAR?
Money quote! Deserves Repeating:
“I refuse to do business with a company who hires sodomite CEOs and who aggressively promotes sodomy, especially when given the opportunity to buy an equal or better product from a company that is either pro Christian or at least less embracing of the sodomites.”
Is there a list of Christian businesses we can support?
But Chick-fil-A eventually chickened out, and no longer supports pro-marriage organizations. Dan Cathy surrendered to the pressure.
Samsung is based in Korea, their culture is a bit different. If they bowed to the homojihad, their top officers would all be toast and they would probably have a revolt on their hands.
It is about 20% of the South Korean economy, it does everything from electronics, appliance to military contracting, heavy industries like shipbuilding and construction too.
Great question. And unlike some of the other big businesses on the list fighting against states like Indiana and Arkansas whose legislators had initially tried to take a stance protecting small businesses opposed to being forced to support gay marriage, conservatives might actually win in forcing NASCAR to change its stance objecting to defense of traditional male-female marriage.
Remember the Dixie Chicks and the role of Free Republic in that. Making NASCAR back down is a winnable fight, and for similar reasons.
Picking winnable battles makes good sense and scores points by proving the other side can't just walk onto the field and win every battle they fight. NASCAR isn't Apple. Just how many gays are huge fans of NASCAR? If we can't win over race car drivers and fans, we have a bigger problem than we think.
I'm sick and tired of listening to defeatism from conservatives. We need to be taking the battle to the enemy. The gates of hell are defensive weapons. We're supposed to be playing offense, not defense, and certainly aren't supposed to be in full scale retreat.
