One-Third Drop Obamacare in California
Newsmax ^ | 4/26/15 | Michael Reagan

**SNIP**

Ninety–four percent is an impressive number, particularly considering Obamacare is mandatory, and most readers would assume everyone kept their insurance. Which makes 94 percent a real success story. Except they didn’t keep their insurance, and it’s not a success story.

The truth is (there’s that word again), over one–third of Covered California policyholders dropped their insurance altogether.

Attkisson contends this is one of the worst retention rates in the nation. And for those poor souls who are still at the mercy of Covered California, the situation doesn’t get any better, 84 percent of the policyholders will be paying increased premiums in 2015.

Aiden Hill, formerly a big supporter of Obamacare and head of the Covered California call center, says the coverage he gets from his Obamacare policy is less than he had before passage of the law and his premium skyrocketed 71 percent. In his words, “So much for competition.” I really believe that we’ve created a monster — and it’s an unaccountable monster.”

When socialism fails (as it always does), the only answer a socialist has is More Socialism. So, can anyone say, “Single payer?” I knew you could.

That’s why I laughed at the face of my tax attorney’s nitwit assistant whose also an obama tool that I should “re-consider” paying for next year as I took the one year exemption. Slaves are stupid people, and they’re called Dummycrats.

http://www.ocregister.com/articles/california-658869-covered-state.html

The article above indicates:

Covered California is $80 Billion bucks in the hole

At that rate alone it is unsustainable(never mind a train that goes nowhere fast)

Enrollment for this year fell 300,000 short of the goal set and that was a mark that was synthetic in the first place, as it recognized certain realities in re-enrollment.

Speaking of re-enrollment: Covered California retained only 65% of previous enrollees.

That’s called “churn” in business parlance and anything over 10% retention is considered an abysmal failure in the business world and usually a predictor of further failures in growth and realistic sustainability of going enterprise.

I don’t know how to quantify a 65% retention rate and its effects on future years but, it definitely portends a colossal disaster...

This article was written by a news organization that is generally supportive of Jerry Klown and Fauxbama, so I don’t know what to make of it either...

I want to laugh at this guy. But, he still has not figured out the end game.

Who do you think pays for the healthcare for unemployed, part-timers and illegals?

They don’t understand about Insurance death spiral, the law created it.

It is only going to get worse.

At the same time in California, electricity, water, and rents are shooting into the stratosphere, people couldn’t even afford the 2014 rates now.

Their earning potential is damped down because of illegal immigration.

Its like a 1 2 punch right to the throat of Californians.

What most people fail to understand is because they are either too ignorant, dumb or greedy, always hoping for freebees is, that Ocare has nothing to do with compassion but everything with more and more governmental control. What invariably and inevitably is the aim of outright socialism, which ultimately has and will continue to fail.

What to make of it-single payer, nationalised socialised “health care”.

“Look at these people. Let’s give them free health care.”

“OK. Let’s give Doctors free cars.”

“That doesn’t seem fair.”

“Well, the Doctor has to get from his house to the hospital. If the patient isn’t going to pay the Doctor any money, then the Doctor needs a free car.”

because WE, our families, our Staff, and their families are EXEMPT.
So instead we will continue to attack conservatives using the IRS."

Boehner and McConnell funded this POS law. Amnesty too. Loretta Lynch will continue race hustling at DOJ. And the Senate negated the Treaty Clause.

Elections have no consequences with RINOs in charge,

Spit.

In December I purchased a policy directly from one of the few carriers offering policies through Covered California. I selected that policy, because my primary physician’s medical group would only accept two policies offered through Covered California, both of them PPO’s. The customer “service” has been appalling. The enrollment people do not speak with the billing people, so that any change in enrollment that reduces the premium results in overbilling and ultimately wrongful termination threats. The prescription drug coverage is not as advertised. My primary care physician says their procedure coding is more often than not erroneous. This incompetent/malicious “service” is the natural result of a government sponsored monopoly, which is exactly what Obamacare is.

This guy blames the problems on competition?

Is it ignorance or stupidity? So much for a "big supporter of Obamacare."

“This guy blames the problems on competition?”

In as much as he’s disgruntled and disillusioned, I’d say that his comment is sarcastic. He’s figured out he’s been duped, but he’s too stupid to have realized that beforehand, like all liberal schmucks!
