Baltimore Burning - Extended Edition - Live Thread (40 Minutes to Curfew)
Various | 4-28-2015 | TCRLAF

Darkness is falling, and reports are that the crowds are getting larger and more tense.

Scattered reports of limited looting, so far.

Baltimore Dispatch just gave the 40 minute warning. Sounds like they are really serious about enforcing a FULL curfew.

Oh come on. It was a break up song. The Clinton’s just co-opted it.

Of course they are probably liberal. But Stevie does take a lot of time to visit with the wounded service members in Bethesda.

"Some might not understand, in larger cities, you don't need to import idiots, criminals or instigators. There are thousands of them at these venues."

In the 2012 election, Baltimore City went 87.21% for Obama, and 11.06% for Romney.

True that. They don't need to import any idiots to Baltimore. There are enough right there to begin with.

Some of the black dispatchers seem really underwhelmed and over it.

SuperTramp?

The horror.

I am quite serious.

Fleetwood Mac, Led Zep etc... All those god-like worshipped acts had a greater influence for negative than any black rabble rouser.

Their garbage values and morals made mainstream allows all the pathetic changes we are seeing now. It is just the logical progression.

And their music was lousy boring fluff or overwrought melodrama.

You know they are all talking about how angry these people are.....well I'm plenty angry that appeasing this situation will just bring another repeat.

Remember Juliana cleared up his city by saying.. one rock thrown, one bottle thrown... and your going down. And he did that. The police acted immediately. In a Small city overtaken by drug dealers etc. it was the same way....they got the word out ..and one after another those people left town because they were constantly having to go to court and pay fines. They arrested them for every little thing...from littering to parking over a line...they just hammered these thugs til they left.

“When you have felony-grade criminal behavior, you have to stop it,” said David A. Klinger, a criminology professor at the University of Missouri and a former police officer.

Klinger said police were too tame because of fears of how the use of force would be perceived.

“You have a huge disincentive for tactical commanders to do the right thing,” he said. He expressed dismay at videos showing police getting pelted with rocks and retreating.

“Violence in this type of environment is very emotionally oriented. When people feel emboldened, they will continue,” Klinger said. “When you cede ground to rioters, it is going to spread. Clearly in my mind, that is at least part of what happened.”

Former Police Commissioner Edward T. Norris agreed.

“You tolerate the verbal abuse, you take some things being thrown from a distance. But once things get dangerous, it’s over. And it’s certainly over when looting starts,” he said. “I don’t believe in giving rioters space. It’s failed everywhere, and it takes away from the actual peaceful protest and becomes an opportunity for criminality. It’s like a fire and you’re giving it oxygen.” http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/politics/bs-md-state-city-response-20150428-story.html#page=1

In the 2012 election, Baltimore City went 87.21% for Obama, and 11.06% for Romney.

which is another reason why Baltimore shouldn’t matter regardless of how much they think they should.

Detroit, Phila. Baltimore...and WAshington are all going to end up dark...same with Dayton and other cities....and they all go down hill thereafter.

“She wouldn’t be hated in Zimbabwe.”

Actually, she’d be hated WAY more in Zimbabwe. Way more. Folks in Africa have REAL problems and REALLY don’t like the spoiled, entitled, whinny American blacks who have it about 1000 times better than the average black African.

Anybody with any degree of grey matter figured that out...

I was watching this develope from early on and you could call exactly what to expect the next minute. Many did and it played out exactly that way.

The decisions made were simply to save political face by the Mayor and her co-hurts.

It’s like many retail stores today....they don’t prosecute shop lifters let alone go after them....they simply figure in a certain % of merchandise will be stolen. Because the costs and time to prosecute outweighs the loss costs.

That’s what is seen in Baltimore....cheaper to let them “vent” then to have blood and arrests.
