Attorneys representing people arrested during this week’s violence and looting are frustrated that suspects are being assigned bail they believe is exorbitant.
Many of those charged can’t pay it, and may spend months in jail awaiting trial.

They really are nice people ... they live in a nurturing family environment ... they will return to their jobs and earn the money they need to support their wives and children ... they will never cause problems again ... they shouldn't have to spend months in jail awaiting trial!

Waay-all . . . If the cops are allowed to show a bit more testosterone and shoot you in the act of arson or looting, the taxpayers pay for the bullet, no cost to you. Better?

That's usually what happens for criminal behavior.
$500.00 cash on a $100,000 bond to get out of jail? And, the defendant is upset because its $500.00 cash on a bond. Thats peanuts for a bond that size.
That is an unbelievably low cash amount on a bond that size.
Another unreal aspect of this whole Baltimore riot.
My solution: Raise the bail higher.
