I've been watching "COPS" for years and never once have I seen them strap a seatbelt on a suspect after tossing them in the back of the patrol car. Now it's considered criminal negligence to fail to do so based on a city police policy that went into effect one week before this incident?
Every one of these racial prosecutions since Rodney King have been politically charged and based on false allegations, from Tawnya Brawley to Duke LaCrosse to Trayvon Martin, to Mike Brown to this.

The article is claiming that Donta was never in the van at all. The article is suggesting that Bledsoe (ass't DA) put Miller (reporter) in touch with Donta so he could regurgitate the story that they were cooking up.
The article is suggesting that Donta was with Freedie when the arrest was made and he got away, but was found later in the day. There is no record that Donta was ever arrested, charged or transported to Central Booking.
