I think it's a bad idea, but at a federal level, I think this is being handled right. The States have to power to make dumb decisions. The feds should and are staying out of it.

Smoking isn’t healthy no doubt. I totally disagree on the handling. All state or fed taxation of vice does is fund Democrats and increase liberalism and liberal power.

I’m not a smoker. Never was. But its the incrementalism thats IMO the issue. Govt has no business at all 3conomically e3ngineering behavior of free people. Thats fully communist.

Of course we havent been free people a long time now...
