No I am not talking about giving money. LOL. Read some of the threads on all the different candidates and you can easily find examples. Unless you give exclusive allegiance to Cruz you are torn apart by the pitbulls. They demand that you vote for “Cruz or Lose” and if you want to take time to consider other candidates you are scum.

Please post the examples, as proof, where a Ted Cruz supporter has called the supporter of another candidate "scum" or any other pejorative term?

I don’t know where he’s getting it, but it sure doesn’t come from Conservative central command. I lean toward the same entities you do.

There will never be another Reagan, he was a once in a lifetime candidate, and it only hurts us when we try to compare a candidate to him.

Yaeh, Naps!! You just made me smile!!:):) Way to go! I’ve got to listen to his speech. I got behind because my husband has truck buying fever and we’ve been out all afternoon roasting on car lots. I agree with you, he’s our Texas Reagan.

LOL! Not hardly. Certainly not like the "Obama thanks you" pro-GOPE crowd does.

You are overly sensitive and weren't going to vote for Cruz anyway. You seem to just want an excuse, any excuse, to bash Cruz.

So don't vote for him.

I'll keep sending the Cruz campaign cash dollars. I'm aware that if Cruz doesn't get the nomination, Jeb isn't going to get voted for.

Or Huck, or anyone else.

Yep. Last time folks thought a person, who endorsed John McCain for return to Washington, D. C. as the Senator from Arizona, walked on water.

You can’t make this stuff up. They fall in love and there’s just no reasoning with them.

It’s as if they’re 16 years old and their flame is some 32 year old guy living in a trailer, drunk most of the time, and cheating on his fourth wife. When her parents mention this, they’re accused of trying to ruin her life, being unfair, and not realized they love each other...

“But mom, he’s not that bad.”

He’s lying to you, and you’re not even married yet. Wake the hell up!

Look no further than who Walker has building his campaign. Bush and Romney boys.

Ashamed of myself because I am supporting a candidate that is different then yours. I think you are taking this way too personally. Walker will make a fine President as would Cruz if he could ever get his act together. They both are not the enemy here. Walker and Reagan are one in the same....both won two terms as Governor, both got work done and didn’t just discuss doing things but did them. Both were very approachable to the American Public. Both didn’t attend elite schools and the best of all both are not Lawyers. So yes I do see big similarities between the two.

You would not have supporter Governor Reagan in 1980 because of some of his voting record. I guarantee you that. Of course you would have voted for him after he got the nomination, but you would have been working to ensure he didn’t get the nomination in 1980.

Hey Naps, I'm pretty sure that ConservativeJoy is talking about Ted Cruz, and not Walker here.

I wouldn’t go quite as far as you, but I do think we should be very careful about comparing someone to him. I actually had a Bush supporter tell me Bush was a better president.

That’s how ‘in love’ some of these people are. There’s no rationality to it whatsoever.

Reagan wasn’t perfect, but the man had a love of this nation second to none, and I never knew the man to lie to us.

GOPe...

The guy isn’t ready for prime time if he’s that gullible.

Reagan on top of all that was a brilliant politician to go along with his solid political philosophy, most politicians at best have one or the other, but rarely have both going for them.

Sheesh! I must be suffering from heat stroke from truck shopping today. Hope springs eternal. I Did think Naps was talking about Cruz because I read it post after a couple of pro Cruz comments. Well, we just have to keep working on him. I believe his heart’in the right place and everyone has to make up their own minds.

Thanks for catching my error!:)

I so admired Reagan because his good heart was so evident, his good humor so pervasive that he won the Dems over in many instances and got a lot of good things done for the country.

If I remember right, Cruz’s mother’s field was computer technology, so he would have cut his teeth on this stuff. As brilliant as Cruz is, I’m sure he has a well thought out strategy to use cutting edge methods.
Ted's mother undoubtedly influenced his interest in computer technology. After earning a degree in Mathematics at Rice University, she went to work for Shell Oil in Houston as a computer programmer in the 1950s. At the time, it was ground breaking for a woman to work in that field dominated by men.

In high school, Ted expressed interest in computer science specializing in robotics or artificial intelligence, but his father gave him this advice:

"I said, 'Ted, you're a people person. You'd be crazy locked up in a cubbyhole.' And I said, 'And all you talk about is the Constitution,'" the elder Cruz recalled. "And so he said, 'You know, you're right.' So off he went to Princeton to study public policy."

Ashamed of myself because I am supporting a candidate that is different then yours.

That's truly all you think this is isn't it.  As I have said here to others, if you can't be honest with yourself, how can't you be honest with me.

I think you are taking this way too personally.

Walker lied.  In that one interview on 05/01/2015, he says he's against amesty.  He says his policy has changed.  Then he says illegals can pay a penalty and remain here.  And he even agreed they should get citizenship if they pay that penalty.

Do I resent it personally?  Yes, a little.  What really gets my goat is that people come here fronting for him on this forum based on his claim that he has changed his immigration policy.  He hasn't.  He's making "change in policy" the cornerstone of his candidacy.  Not only is he lying about it, but the people who support him here can't grasp what he says in plain English and extrapolate meaning from it.  They are in denial.

Mr. Walker, if illegals pay a penatly, can you see a pathway to citizenhip?  Yes Mike, I believe a way can be found to do that.  / Oh Walker didn't really mean that.  It was a trick question.  He was focusing on something else and he didn't hear the word citizenhip?  /  He was asked that same quetion three times?  / Oh it doesn't matter.  /  Now that you mention this, I support Walker like never before.

This actually makes sense in the thought processes of Walker's supporters.

Walker will make a fine President as would Cruz if he could ever get his act together.

The implication that Cruz doesn't have his act together is pure fantasy.  This from a person who still to this date can't listen to Walker's own comments and extrapolate fact from them, or is simply misleading folks for some reason.

They both are not the enemy here.

Cruz hasn't lied.  Walker has told a whopper and his supporters refuse to acknowledge it.  Cruz is running on truth, whether I agree with him or not.  Walker has chosen to run on a lie, and his supporters have decided to support a liar rather than be truthful with forum participants.

Liars are not our allies.  They are our enemies.

Walker and Reagan are one in the same....

I can't think of a single time Ronald Reagan lied to the American public.  Walker has, and not only that, he has made that lie a cornerstone of his run for the presidency.  How dare you say they are the same.

...both won two terms as Governor, both got work done and didn’t just discuss doing things but did them.

Okay, then as long as the trains run on time, everything is just peachy right?

Both were very approachable to the American Public. Both didn’t attend elite schools and the best of all both are not Lawyers. So yes I do see big similarities between the two.

What you can't see or be honest about, and what you can see, are distrubing when all is said and done.  Ronald Reagan was not a liar.  Scott Walker is.

You would not have supporter Governor Reagan in 1980 because of some of his voting record.

I would have supported Reagan.  I know his record and I can vouch for every thing he did.  If you wish to turn this into a thread bashing Reagan so your guy will look better, it's clear just who you are and what you are trying to do.

I guarantee you that.

Just one more thing to lie about.  You can't do anything of the kind.  I'll guarantee you that!

Of course you would have voted for him after he got the nomination, but you would have been working to ensure he didn’t get the nomination in 1980.

That is not the truth, but it is the tactic of a bottom feeder who can't deal with reality, and will stoop to anything to get her man elected, even stomping on the memory of Ronald Reagan.

I agree. His oratory skills were second to none also.

He could communicate, and did so at will.

Sucked to be a Democrat in those days.
