I am Southern Baptist by denomination, I follow the Bible, not a bunch of people in a board room making rules of what we follow. We have many "leaders" in the SBA that are sliding into the liberal side of things of doing the liberal thing. I am not following that line. I am with my LORD Jesus Christ and Him crucified and RAISED from the dead!!!
Our church is basically dying. No young people, mostly old folks. I don't even see our church open in 5-7 years as we all die off anyway. No new people, unless we get an old couple not wanting to drive to their old church and comes to ours because we are closer for them, or something like that. But, I am starting to see more of the women with the head dress on around here. Here in the DEEP South!!!
Home churches are probably the way of the future. It’s getting very tough to find one that hasn’t sold out to multiculturalism, politically correct BS of the 21st century.
I would bail out of that church Today. If necessary, start a house church. Either that or fire the “pastor”.
You’d do yourself good by getting out of that church and never returning. Vanilla sermons and multiculturalism is exactly what brought about rampant decline and apostasy during the 6th century that led to Islam rising.
Satanic infiltration (can’t beat em’ so join em’) is what is really destroying our modern church. I won’t have a thing to do with WOF or merging of religions with anybody. I used to go to a SBC church too. You guys are really headed in that direction. Want to know something sick?
