As I said earlier, I posted this video on Twitter. I hope other FReepers will post it on their Facebook or Twitter accounts or Instagram or whatever. Even sending it via e-mail would be a good thing. We need to get the message out that Ted Cruz is not a monster or a “Conservative bogey man” but he is a warm, caring human being.
I actually have tears in my eyes after watching that. His mother is a remarkable lady. I’m glad to see this tribute to her.
I do so agree with you .. and I’m quite sure there are an entire legion of people on FR who also pray for Sen. Cruz’s safety.

I haven’t watched the video yet - but I experience the same annoyance with most videos - the background music is way too loud.
I’ve always wondered if it has anything to do with the generation who has always listened to screaming music in their earphones ..??
Ted is nice: hasn’t he heard “nice guys finish last”. I fear the Republican primary electorate as much as I do the whole electorate.

Probably my audio then. I just wanted to hear what they were saying a bit better as it was such a nice, heartfelt video. I’ve seen Senator Cruz’s father a few times, but don’t recall seeing his Mother previously - she appears to be a sweet, intelligent and well-spoken woman. It looks like she was/is a great Mom and I suspect a great MIL and Grandmother.
