You can get a nice meal at a bistro for an easy $40, but taking a quality photo of it can be trickier. And since it is important to share pictures of your meals with the world, you need Foodography. These are two plates designed to be sets for the camera on your smartphone. The one pictured above has a rest for your phone and a high back that blocks out distractions in the background.

My only caption: "I paid $40 for this?".
And then I would delete it before posting so I didn't let all my friends think I'm a complete idiot.

I could understand taking a pic of something interesting or out of the ordinary like once we ate at a place called Paul Bunyan's it was set up like a logging camp kitchen and the food was excellent but lots of it was really big. The brought us out a bowl of donuts to go with breakfast and each donuts was bigger than a standard dinner plate. That would be something to take a pic of.
But I just don't understand people who go to Denny's and take pics of their Grand Slam breakfast, or Chicken Marsala at Olive Garden.

Looks like garbage in a dismounted urinal (with a smartphone stuck on it). Have the ‘sculptors’ been at it again?

Crappy, overpriced nouveau cuisine ain’t hardly worth wasting a picture on.
Now, when I’m at Stanley’s Bar-B-Q in Tyler, Texas, THEN I’ll be taking pictures so I can let folks back home know what they’re missing!

Now, a pastrami sandwich at Bread Basket deli in Southfield, Michigan is DEFINITELY worth a picture!
And I don't need a dang backstop, either.

I have always wondered why in the world anyone would post a picture of the food they are going to eat...
Are they that vain to think anybody really cares....?
