You may not know the name Richard Martinez, but you certainly remember his howl of pain after his only child, Christopher Michaels-Martinez, was slain during a horrific night of violence in Isla Vista nearly a year ago.
Martinez, with his distinctive gray beard and dark hair, spoke in public the day after a mentally ill young man killed six people and injured 14 others before killing himself. His rage and grief were hard to watch, but impossible to ignore.

My wife, daughter, brother and I all have carry licenses.
My wife carries much of the time, especially when she goes into the city. I never leave the house unarmed. My daughter is well trained and armed (and owns two big dogs). Unfortunately her job with the state prohibits carry at work. Still, she is trained in self defense and something of a poster child for situational awareness (spooky at times).
If this guy was advocating for more armed citizens we would never have heard his name. He is another useful idiot for the fascist left.

The only reason this old fart’s “rage and grief” are hard to ignore is because it’s hard to ignore a spoiled brat who keeps fussing because his diaper hasn’t been changed.
