Humility from a politician is more easy to come by from those on the Right, but you can completely forget about it from anyone who sides with the Left.
Am I wrong? Obama, Reid, Pelosi, are they humble?
Exactly.
The one person who has taken a beating more than any individual on the planet for the past 15 years or so chooses a different path.
Even during his time in office, President George W. Bush recognized that he wasnt the most eloquent speaker who ever resided at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., but the fact remains that the guy is not one to be easily offended, unlike our current Head of State.

That jab about giving a free speech is a nice knife in the ribs of the Clinton’s, too .
I’m going to have to admit that I don’t find much of what this guy does to be funny or priceless.
He handed off a nation in the worst condition since the great depression, and frankly I’m not convinced this wasn’t another great depression.
We have tens of millions of people out of work. Right now.
We were five plus trillion more in debt when he left office, and several trillion after he left office could be directly attributable to his failure.
I knew that clown was going to be a monumental F-up. He sure surpassed my wildest fears though.
Yep, he’s sure charming. Tell the tens of millions of people out of work how charming he is. I’m not buying his dog n pony show.
We have an idiot in there now, that would never have been president without Bush.
BDS crew due in 3 . . . 2 . . . 1. . .
oops. too late.
Agree. The awe shucks stuff is getting old.
He’s a globalist. That’s all you will be offered to vote on from now on - globalists. Anything that smacks of protectionism or isolationism will be hounded out of the race by the media.
No blame the voters who knowing he voted “Present” while senator still voted him in...there was enough stuff out there on Obama to sent up a zillion red flags warnings......
How refreshingly different from what we have had to listen to for the past several years! President Bush is truly a good man. Sure...he is imperfect ...like ALL the rest of us....but he is a GOOD man! (sigh)
not nearly as old as the fringe freepers losing their damn minds every time time bush family comes up.
let it the hell go. you people are worse than the obamites.
John, seriously, you think this was unfair to Bush?
What part of it was untrue? You know as well as I do that all that is true. If you don’t, don’t try to blame me for addressing Bush for exactly who he was and still is.
I’m not interested in anything W has to say.
We gave him the opportunity to seriously change the leftward movement of our government and country. He did nothing.
My criticisms are very numerous. But if you want a single litmus test that defines this man, it’s a Democrat congress and a couple of vetos in 8 years. The only time he went to congress and seriously twisted Republican arms was to (try to) get amnesty passed.
100%
He has a good life. That’s more than we can say for tens of millions of U. S. citizens out of work under pressure to make ends meet.
I don’t dwell on him, but him going around acting like a good ole boy at other people’s expense, when that’s all this is, really grates me.
I’d like to join you with that thought... well not really.
Try to think about what the current president had done at that time, what party he was a member of, what group he was constantly described a member of (Conservative), and then imagine anyone wanting to vote for John McCain from that same part, or us wanting to vote for him either.
Bush serve up the presidency for Obama on a platter.
I agree.
