The hypocrisy of Green

“Green” started as the stand against pollution. To the “greenies,” that pollution seldom seemed small enough, especially when the pollutants were made by evil humans rather than by nature itself. Green is no more good for saving the environment than it is for protecting the people. Green wears the badge of hypocrisy.

Being green requires minimizing pollutants in products, places, people, and the environment. But it depends on what is a pollutant and how little of it is little enough.

The EPA, for example, has declared CO2 a pollutant, the invisible, odorless, tasteless, non-toxic substance that sustains all life on earth, fertilizes plants, and greens the planet. CO2 exists in the soil, the water, the air, in plants, in people, and virtually everywhere and in some dynamic equilibrium everywhere. It's time to get rid of the EPA when it condemns a life-giving substance.

"To be green is to return the globe to some non-human nirvana: to regulate away the very civilizations that developed the symbiosis between the earth and those who live responsibly upon it. Green is no Utopia!

Green is the cult of hypocrisy. It hates humans and would like nothing better than to unburden the earth of the polluting people who dare to breathe out and drive their cars."

The hypocrisy of Green

They are Green on the outside but RED on the inside. Marxist sympathizers or useful idiots.

Pointing out leftist hypocrisy may be self-gratifying,
but understand that they really don’t care if they’re hypocrites.

Being a liberal isn’t about doing the right thing. It is about FEELING righteous about doing something, even if it is the wrong thing.

Amen! You got it right.

The left doesn't care at all about rhetoric. They want action that actually does something.

Good to see someone get it. Lots of FR is happy with a good rhetoric win.

Some of us want judicial injunctions like the 5th gave us about immigration.

Actually, the sheeperal leftists don’t care if something actually “gets done”. They’re all in it for the “I’m a good person because I advocate for good things.”

But, there are leftists who do indeed want to do something, and that something is advance their agenda.

“Green” is just a way to do that.

Ayn Rand described these people as “anti-human” back in the early 1970s. At the time (I was a college student) I thought she was going too far with that description; over time, I’ve come to understand that she had them pegged.

They may not care if they ARE hypocrites, but they really hate it when they're shown to so.

They are hard to shame, but bristle like curs when you successfully do so.

Green on the OUTSIDE and RED on the inside makes them sound more like human WATERMELONS. Not too far off either. Inside of a tough skin all you find is a lot of mushy stuff and a million seeds.
And they truly are a seeded bunch.
