The outrage should be focused on why that mob of children was there, disrupting the normal flow of events in a community environment. Nobody was injured. The parents of that girl should be THANKING the police and demanding a lot of explaining from the young lady.

Nobody is defending the kids who were behaving badly. They were disruptive and unruly and the neighbors were justified in calling the police. But if we are to criticize the teens for inappropriate behavior then why should we give the cop in question a free pass for inappropriate behavior?

Such drama. The only thing harmed in the incident was the brat’s sense of entitlement.

why should we give the cop in question a free pass...

Because it gives the protestors an opening for bringing their chaos into the suburbs. The defense should be 100% for the policeman, for diffusing without any injuries a very bad situation that was about to get way out of control.

And the complaints about the policeman swearing? If that's the only language thugs respond to, it becomes part of the dialog.

You give those with a community organizer mentality even the smallest opening or sign of weakness, they're going to expand it to meet their agenda. It's the way that world operates.
