A new study by MIT has revealed that the quantities of nitrous oxide (N2O), otherwise known as laughing gas, being released by the world's oceans has been dramatically underestimated. Heightened levels of N2O have the potential to seriously influence the health of our planet's ozone layer, as the gas is around 300 times more potent than the more prevalent menace of carbon dioxide emissions.

The Russians actually figured out why the earth cools and warms and why Artic ice thins despite cold surface temperatures. It has to do with the relative activity of deep sea volcanoes or smokers that the Russians mapped under the Artic Ocean and in other locations.
Could be why everyone enjoys a trip to the beach. Laughing gas!!
No wonder the Dolphins have such hi-pitched voices. The same for whales. They’re “high” on NO2, “laughing gas”.

This article is a mishmash and scarcely comprehensible. It appears to conflate supposed global warming with danger to the ozone layer. It says the nitrogen comes from agriculture without giving even a hint of what fraction that might be. In all, almost completely useless, except to generate a search for an article that makes sense without an agenda.
Oh yeah, and the “fragile atmosphere” is not fragile, but resilient.

No problem. Just wait until the tide goes out....then there is less water and everything is just fine again.
