Washington Posts Robert Costa and Ed OKeefe have a good rundown of how presumptive GOP frontrunner Jeb Bush suddenly found himself atop a staggering campaign. Aside from organizational and message woes, they pinpoint Bushs still inexplicable failure to answer Fox News host Megyn Kellys question about the Iraq War as the moment when Bushs luck began to turn.
In particular, one source told the reporters that Bushs inability to answer what should have been an expected question, which crystallize[d] some of the key concerns about Bush, spooked donors:
We should have had that answer nailed down, one donor said. There were people who were really shaken by that.

What seemed like a softball pitch by Fox turned out to be a revelation about the candidate.
Repeat after me donors:
Jeb. Bush. Is. A. Moron.
Po, po, Jebbie. Just can’t get even one slightly neutral post here on FR. Mittens did so much better.
Megyn knows her business. Cheers 4 her.

You mean, y’all wanted Jeb to LIE?
Truth telling is a virtue. I’m convinced Jeb told the truth about Iraq.
I’m convinced Jeb is, in general, inclined to tell the truth rather than to lie about how he would behave as POTUS.
And that, my FRiends, is why I am 150% against him. Because I believe him!
But I won’t take away from the man that he tells the truth. That’s a good thing.
On the other hand, Ted Cruz scrupulously tells the truth, and his principles are much more in line with my own than are Jebbie’s.
I agree! I am not a Bush fan at all for many other reasons, but this is not one of them. I watched that interview and it was obvious to any marginally objective person that he was answering a different question than what was asked.
This whole “issue” is just BS.
Buttfumble 2.0
That’s it in a nutshell.
He’s been honest.
It wasn’t his answer about Iraq, though.
He wants voters to approve giving away their country.
THAT’s what has donors nervous.
Voters do not want to abandon the rule of law and give their country to fraudulently documented foreigners.
(ps. like your tagline)
THANK YOU, MEGYN!!!!!!!!!!
What fumble? He MEANT it.
He wants voters to approve giving away their country.
THATs what has donors nervous.
....
Not Jeb’s donors. More than anything they want to dilute informed voters, who demand good government, with illegal aliens. His donors want a big expensive government that rewards cronies. They don’t give a hoot about anything else.
HA!!!!!
Jeb Bush is Hillary’s guarantee to win and why he’s being put out there. Like McCain against Obama....only this time the people aren’t buying it!
We agree.
Ah, the Hillary Quotes Golden Book!
"I'm not buying it..."
"Suspension of disbelief..."
"What difference does it make?"
"I do not recall..."
"F*cking Jew B*stard..."
These, and many more!

Well I really didn’t give it much thought when I said people aren’t buying it as one of Hillary’s phrases...my mom used that phrase often as well!
