Good article, his conclusion can’t be argued with.

With Jeb and Rubio in, it only serves to help Cruz win the Florida primary.

Well, sure, but once he's in, he's in until someone or something knocks him out.

And what's more, if he could get 10% in a poll starting out, he's in, even if he could never get 20%.

It's all a little like going to war. August 1914 and all that.

There are heavy wheels grinding slowly but surely and massive vehicles rolling relentlessly and implacably forward.

For what's more massive than a politician's ego?

Jeb should find another vocation. He’s not running to help our country, he’s running to advance his personal interests.

Actually, not a bad article. The reference to the Henry Olsen article is valuable (though the full Olsen article is apparently only for subscribers).

But the biggest and most influential of Olsen’s blocs are the “somewhat conservative” voters, who represent 35-40 percent of the primary vote. Somewhat conservatives “like even-keeled men with substantial governing experience,” yet they’re also resistant to candidates who call for radical change or who seem eager to wage culture wars. This is Bush’s sweet spot, in theory. He is, after all, an even-keeled man with substantial governing experience. Bush’s most realistic rivals for the affections of somewhat conservatives are Rubio and Walker. That is why Bush intends to destroy Rubio and Walker.

Cruz fans, Bush could be your best friend (though that will probably end up hurting the party in November 2016).
