This just keeps getting better and better. I expect to see it on "Snapped", "Dateline", and or 20/20 in due course.
The truth is stranger than fiction. Always. 4 times I've been on jury cases and each was more ridiculous than the last.

Perhaps the Coen brothers are already working on a script.

Well, that would explain the hubby not knowing anything. Poor husband.........always the last to know.

Yikes!
It’s good that this woman didn’t go through with her plot. One hopes it was pangs of conscience rather than loss of nerve, though that seems rather unlikely. Either works, though, from the perspective of her husband not being dead.
BTW, anyone care to lay odds on the likelihood these two convicted murderers would have offed Joyce Mitchell after whacking her husband?

This poor man probably needs more than a stiff drink by now.

... where they would then kill her husband
And what would be the consequences for the two cons? They've already got life sentences.
By now, having made fools of the entire state law enforcement agencies, they're probably both in Mexico.

Hopefully the husband cleaned out any joint bank accounts before the lawyers moved in. As for bail, forget about it, I would let her sit there and rot.

I guess it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Yep. Just that stupid. Couldn’t get a cat or something.

She would be at room temp right now if she had gone through with the plan.
