Revelation 17:17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree * , and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled .
A tribulation verse that represents the giving over of power to the anti Christ who will destroy all religious institutions on the earth before entering the temple in Israel to declare himself God. This event is near mid tribulation and will usher in the remaining 14 of the 21 judgements of the wrath of God on the earth during the last 3 1/2 years of said tribulation. The 7 year tribulation will end when the Lord Jesus Christ with His holy angels and raptured saints will descend to destroy the anti Christ and all the remaining armies of the earth as they gather to destroy Israel, the land and people that God in the person of Jesus the Christ will rule and reign over all the earth from His throne.
Interesting fact of Scripture teaching is how God will use the anti Christ to destroy the cult religions represented by the woman who rides on the beast which is the false church left behind at the rapture.
I agree...I just see this verse working today prior to the tribulation. it is almost inexplicable why the GOPe and Conservatives and even the Tea Party would go right along with the Obama Agenda...unless you read these verses!
