On June 20 former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney called for South Carolina to remove the Confederate flag from their state Capitol grounds in Columbia.
His call comes in the wake of the heinous attack on Charleston’s Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church. It follows a photo of the suspected gunman, Dylann Roof, in which Roof is seen leaning against his car with a Confederate flag license plate visible on the front of his vehicle being widely circulated.
Here were Romney’s exact words: “Take down the Confederate Flag at the SC Capitol. To many, it is a symbol of racial hatred. Remove it now to honor Charleston victims.”

Romney was the first GOP candidate in my voting life who did not get my vote. And hardly a day goes by in which I’m grateful I stood firm and refused to sully my soul by voting for this POS. The same POS who helped facilitate homo-marriage onto this country when he was governor of his state. Damn you to the deepest, darkest corners of hell, Romney. And ditto to all those who thrust you upon the 2012 ticket.
Mitt should realize that many blacks (and leftest) feel the same way about the stars and stripes. Will he be demanding that we take down the USA flag as well? It never ends. Leftest will not be satisfied until old glory is replaced with the UN flag.
Even when he isn’t running for anything the urge to pander is second nature.
